Clean and Simple????

Hello, hope everyone had a great weekend!  Ok, let me first say that this card took me out of my comfort zone!  There is reason for the madness.  I got my free digi image from D2D, it's a progressive challenge where we get a free new digi if you play the previous week.  This week, we were given a voucher to purchase our digi, so I did (how nice was that)!!!  Now here comes the problem, I entered another challenge I have never tried before, now I know why!  CASual Friday, you had to Create a 4 x 9 card and keep it Clean And Simple! The idea is to embrace the (white) space. Its a big canvas & you must resist the urge to fill it!

Hence out of my comfort zone, white space:(  No sentiment, since I was not sure how to use it. Not sure if I like, but it is what it is!!!  Who knows, I may try it again next week!!!  Thanks for stopping by!!

OMG!  I am so excited to be an Amber Ink Torchbearer for the month of August!!!!  I was very suprised when I received an email asking me to accept this mission.  To be honest, I though it was spam mail, maybe a joke:)  So, I started searching Amber Ink's site and it was a real place:)  Also, when I saw Cammi's name, I started thinking this just might be real!!  Thanks Cammi, I feel honored and proud that she passed the purple torch on to me!!!!

I love the digi, but I was nervous about all the white!!! I have never had to do it, but have seen some great work from others!  So, here it is!!!!  I used watercolor paper and Bic Markers on this, just wanted to try something different!!!  Thanks for looking:)

Hello and welcome! For the hop, we were asked to design a project that represented our BFF, someone that inspires our heart.  The first person that came to mind was "MY HUSBAND"!!! He supports and feeds "my addiction":)  He purchased both of my expressions.  He is my biggest fan and helps when I have to make those guy cards!  I love him a lot and he is my BFF, we share everything, he is blessing from God!  So, my project is dedicated to him!!!!

A Thing of Beauty

Happy Friday!  Hello everyone:)  Here is my entry for Design2Delight weekly challenge. This challenge is progressive, I did get my digi this week!  I love the digi and sentiment from Designed2Delight, but could not decide on all the right colors, so I decided to do some paper piecing ( think that's what it is called)!!!   I saw this paper in my paper stash and I had to use it.  I colored the main body with copics and colored pencils.  I really like how it came out!

Hambo Hoedown Challenge

Hello everyone!  Today my card is for Hambo Hoedown Challenge, it is a progressive challenge. For this week's challenge you have to use any "Hambo Image" and make a gatefold card!! So, I am using "Steamroller-digi"  and sentiment from Hambo Stamps, which I received free because I qualified from last week's challenge!!!.   I used the second part of the sentiment for the inside, which I think will be great for a gift card!!   Thanks for stopping by!!!
