MAG Challenge #30

HOORAY, SCHOOL IS OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!   I think I may be a little happy about this:)  So, I hope everyone is doing great.  It is time for another MAG Challenge.  Make sure you check out MAG next week, we have a special announcement coming!!!!

So, on to this week's challenge.  We had to use "Smiley Cards", page 54.  The cartridge was a download for the GYPSY last year, so that is the only way you can access it.  For MAG, you can ONLY use the specific page/images on the page mentioned.  However, you can used any other embellishments in your stash, which makes it a true challenge. 

Also, this month @ MAG, we are giving away a "Peachy Keen $20 gift card"!  So you must play to win!! Also, we use our winners as guest designers, who knows you could be our next guest designer.  So, stop by and join in!!!

For my card, I only used the hat.  The face is a circle punch, with a cute Peachy Keen face.  I was so glad for this challenge because I've had that cute face sitting on my desk for about 2 or 3 months wondering what to do with it!  So here it is, thanks for stopping by!!!

Dilsaver Designs Challenge

Hello, I want to first "THANK" Lucianna @ DilsaverDesigns for being so kind.  She created this digi stamp for those of us that wanted to learn how to color using colored pencils.  She taped 4 tutorial videos to walk us through it step by step.  If you would like to learn, stop by her blog and leave her your email address and she will send it to you.  She is a great teacher!!!!

This my first try at doing hair, I think it is ok.  I am giving this to a coworker that has a birthday tomorrow.  This process has made me more comfortable with trying my copics.  So I know what I will be doing this summer:)  Make sure you stop by Dilsaver's blog.  Again, I want to say thanks! I will be linking my digi to a challenge she has going on @ her blog!!!

Happy Retirement/ Blog Hop winner

Good evening, I am so excited about my post tonight!  Our speech teacher at school is retiring and I wanted to wish her well.  So, the digi from Designed2Delight came in handy:)  I had so much fun coloring this, I used my Crayola Colored Pencils and Odorless Mineral Spirits.  I so love this technique, I know it is not new.  However, it is new to me and I am in love:)  I watched StampTV and Dilsaver Designs.

For this hop, I wanted to try something different, that I had never made!  I created a Twisted Easel Card, it was pretty easy!  I watched Mary @ CardzTV tutorial.  I used Sesame Street Seasons, Cookie Monster is cut @ 5"!  I cut him big, so all the small pieces would be easier to handle:)  Also, because my card stands tall, I flip my card backwards to close.   Sentiment (Party Animal) is My Pink Stamper.  I found this great paper @ the scrapbook expo I attend in April.

Just a Note!

Hello, it is Friday and 3 more days of school:)   I can see the light at the end of the tunnel!!!!!!  So, since it is Friday, it's time for another MAG Challenge!!   This week we used a cartridge from the Gypsy, Gypsy Wanderings.  I had fun making this card!

School's Out!!!!!!!!!

6 more days of school!!!!! Hooray, it is almost summer vacation!!! Oh, how happy I was to work on Challenge #16 @ CTO.  The challenge this week is "School's Out (must have an apple) somewhere on the project!".  You have until Sunday, June 5th @ 11:59pm to post your project.  Also, this month we are giving away the "Spring Holiday Cards" cricut cartridge!!

Here is card I made for a friend's son.  She wanted these colors and informed me he liked the drums.  So, here is my take!! I used the Quarter Note cartridge, paper is Recollections form Michael's.  I do not remember the cut sizes because it was made so long ago, I just never posted the picture.  I will enter it in the Birthday Sundaes  challenge, this week's theme is Masculine Card!  Thanks for stopping by!!!!!!

Flower Power

Hello, I hope everyone is having a safe, restful and fun Memorial Day weekend!  I am definitely looking forward to another day off:)  Well, I think I am getting addited to digi stamps, they are so much fun!!!!   I have become more comfortable with my colored pencils.  I am still practing with them.  So, here is my entry in the Designed2Delight Free Friday Image Challenge.  Thanks so much for all the encouraging and kind comments you left last week!  Again, thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!!

HOORAY, it is Friday!!!! That means it is time for another MAG Challenge. This week for Challenge #28 you have to use Nifty Fifties, page 29.  At MAG, you have to use only the cut and images on the specific page. Also, we use our winners of the weekly challenges to be guest designers, so make sure you enter in the fun!   This week our Guest Designer is Donna from Diary of a Scrapbook Addict, we are so glad to have her and her project is amazing!!!  Please go by and show her some love:)

This month our grand prize is a Spring Holiday Cards Cartridge!! So, here is my project, thanks for stopping by!  I made my first purchase from Papertreyink!!!  The rocket is from the stamp/die combo Boy Basic!  The clouds are the fur puffs from the poodle cut at various sizes.  The sentiment is from the same set.  I hope you enjoy!   

Cricut Circle Monthly Challenge!
