I created this purse for an invitation to a Sweet 16 birthday party. The purse was my take on a Paper Bag Purse. I removed the paper bag, added a few more inches of paper and score lines:) Added the invite and pick up instructions inside. I used Sweethearts cart for the gift box and Celebrations cart for "it's a party". The invitation measures 5.5 x 4.5. Thanks for stopping by!

For the challenge, you have to create a birthday themed pocket card, over at Partytime Tuesdays. I am in shock, NO CRICUT!!!!!!!! Click here to see the tutorial I used to make this card. Hope you like it:) Thanks for stopping by!

I used Christmas stickles for the nose and scarf. I embossed the green paper with Cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder. Had fun, thanks for stopping by!
Blog Awards
WOW! What a nice surprise upon returning home from vacation. My husband and I went to the lake for some rest and relaxation and it was great, but I did miss my cricut:) I received two blog awards from Nicole. I feel very honored because I have only had my blog for about a month. I was very nervous about doing the blog, this gives me a little more confidence to continue doing what I enjoy and sharing with others. Just as so many others have inspired me, I too hope I can inspire someone. I made this cards for Nicole, to just say: "THANKS". I love her blog and she makes such cute things. Her card was my first attempt at heat embossing. I heat embossed the letters onto the flowers it was fun! Thanks again:)

Snow Business
I created this card for the CardzTV "Christmas in July" challenge. The only requirement was to use a snowman. I used the snowman border from Doodlecharms cut @ 3". The card is 4" x 8". I stickled the noses, Orange Peel and the snow edges, Icicles. The faces are Peachy Keen Stamps and chalk for the cheeks. I used a ruler edge to make the shape of the snow. The sentiment is computer generated, it says, "There's no business, like "SNOW" business.

The pink paper is from DCWV Sweet Stack. Thanks:)
