Celebrate the Occasion Challenge #48

Happy Tuesday, I hope everyone is doing well!  Thanks for stopping by!  Last day of January, one month down, eleven to go:)  Today is Design Team day over at CTO!  Our theme this week is "Thank You (must use a punch)" .  I do not know about you but I can always use Thank you cards!

This set of "Thank You" cards was a request from a friend.  She owns a travel agency and wanted to send something to her clients.  So hence the suitcase card, I used the suitcase from Stand and Salute.  I welded the shadow.  The cover was embossed with the Cuttlebug "Moasic" folder, to look like leather.  The sentiment was computer generated and I used the MS alphabet punch for the letters on the edge.

Thanks so much, please join us at CTO this week!   Also, we are having a Blog Hop this weekend to celebrate CTO's 1st Birthday, and there will be blog candy!!!

Celebrate the Occasion Challenge #47

Hello, thanks for stopping by!  Today is Design Team day for Celebrate the Occasion.  Our theme this week is Masculine Birthday.  I do not know about you but I struggle with Masculine cards, because I am not able to use a lot of the frills!  So, I use my husband as a gauge to let me know if it is still "manly":)

For this challenge, I used a digi from Bugaboo.  I had seen this character Gus and felt he would be a great character for my card!  The stamps is from Michael's $1 bin and I colored with my copics.  Please join us this week @ CTO and add a masculine card to your stash!

Cooking with Cricut #69

Hello everyone, it is hump day!  That means challenge time over at Cooking with Cricut.  I so love my project for this challenge!

For this week's CWC Challenge #69, the theme:  Winter Warmth (scarves, hats, fireplace, hot chocolate, etc.)

So for my project, I looked up mugs. When I saw this mug, I knew what I was going to do.  A great cup of hot chocolate!!  I wanted it all shades of brown, no pattern paper.  I got a stamp set from Melissa, and one of the sentiments were perfect.  Thanks Melissa:)  I hope you enjoy my project, swing over to CWC and join in this week!!

Have a Spidey Day!

Hello again!  Here is a card I made for a little boy that is a Spiderman fanatic!!  He is and has everything Spiderman!  I had fun making this card!  I used the cricut only for the name, my favorite font:  Mickey!!!

I will enter this card in the following challenges:
Terrific Tuesday:  Create a project using a cartoon charater
    Birthday Sundae: Birthday card challenge

She's here!!!

Hello, hope all is well!  Cold front coming through this weekend, so I have to stay warm:)  3 day weekend, hope to do a lot of crafting!!!  She's Here!!!  I know you are wondering who is She.  She is my new Beautiful Red Cricut!!!  I have been wanting this one since the first time I laid eyes on it.  If you have been following my blog, u know my favorite colors are red, black and white.  So, I had to have the red cricut to go in my red, black amd white craftroom.

So, to make sure it work, I made a card for the young lady I will be giving my very 1st cricut.  I figure I should sow it so I don't become a cricut hoarder( LOL!) and make room for the black one I want, as a backup cricut, just in case!  That's my story and I am sticking to it!!!

I will be entering my card in the CardzTv challenge, this week you have to use rhinestones, ribbon or rickrack.  Use one, two or all three.  I was able to use ribbon and rhinestone.  Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!!!
